“Glass onion” and “I am the walrus” are two songs written by Beatles from their psychedelic period. Therefore, the lyrics are stuffed with juxtaposed fantasy of reality and unrelated objects. The emphasis of design is placed on visualizing the language to enhance the feelings of romanticism and naivety that felt in the two songs.
In this project, the two songs are transformed into the forms of the letter. These letters are written to a girl named Lucy, who appears in the lyrics of both of the songs. Texts and textures are printed on separated transparent paper and clipped in between clear acrylic sheets to create depth and the floating effect.
